Quick hits to bring romance to your home

Just a quick post this month...With Valentine's Day on the horizon, I'm thinking of how to incorporate romance in our homes without being too kitschy. Do we go with adding reds and pinks, or go all out with dark moody romantic vibes? 

Here are some of the elements we can add to invoke a romantic feel to our rooms without painting walls or investing in new furnishings.

• Soft fabrics
• Faux furs
• Soft ambient lighting - hopefully you have various light sources already in addition to the typical overhead lighting that can be too bright to invoke that romantic feel. And hopefully you have dimmers installed to control what lighting you have.
• Candles (a different light source, of course!) 
• Flowers
